Class Description:
Dive into wax-carving in this one-day workshop where you’ll learn to craft your very own signet ring. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced jewelry maker, you will enjoy creating this classic design or its many variations. The class will guide you step-by-step through the carving process ensuring your design has clean lines and perfect proportions. Once your basic shape is ready, additional details may be added to further personalize your design.
By the end of the day your personalized signet ring design will be ready for casting and in 2 weeks your finished cast piece will be ready for pick up! Whether you’re interested in creating a custom piece for yourself or as a gift, this workshop will give you the skills and possibly inspire future creations.
Supply Fee Includes:
- carving wax
- 20 grams sterling silver (students exceeding this weight will be billed accordingly)
- casting fees
