Artist Statement: The past decade was the most tumultuous time of my life. Dealing with past trauma left me struggling to function, culminating in a breakdown. Through it all, art sustained me. All I felt poured out into metal, each piece a bulwark within that chapter of my life. Now, I am on more stable ground with the possibility of a future in front of me that I was once too afraid to consider. The pieces I sculpt now are a reclaiming of my life. ‘Passion’ is my war cry. 

Artist Bio: Taylor Twigg graduated from Richmond, the American International University in London with a degree in Art, Design, and Media. She began her career as a sculptor before moving into sculptural jewelry. Her favored mediums are silver, stones, and paper. She shifts between these mediums. Each piece she sculpts is inspired by a story; it is the backbone that informs the design. She believes that jewelry should be a reflection of the soul. Be bold, be vibrant, and above all…let your voice be heard.
