Class Description:
Expand your approach to stone setting and jewelry fabrication by exploring a variety of techniques for incorporating multiple stones into a single piece. Through a series of demonstrations, this workshop will examine different methods for designing and constructing fabricated jewelry that features two or more stones, with an emphasis on creative problem-solving, structural considerations, and cohesive design.
Students will learn a range of fabrication strategies, including approaches to planning layouts, building settings, connecting components, and integrating multiple stones into balanced, wearable compositions. Demonstrations will highlight several construction methods and setting styles, offering adaptable techniques that can be applied to pendants, rings, earrings, and brooches.
This workshop is ideal for jewelers with basic fabrication experience who are looking to expand their technical skills and develop new design possibilities beyond single-stone jewelry. Participants will leave with practical techniques, fresh inspiration, and a deeper understanding of how multiple stones can be combined to create dynamic, one-of-a-kind pieces.
