Artist Statement: I found this adorable dental crucible at an estate sale years ago. Inspired by taking Andy Cooperman's imaginative captures class, I hand fabricated a sterling silver basket to proudly display it on top of your hand. It was a pleasure to turn an ordinary dental tool into a whimsical and wearable conversation starter. 

Artist Bio: Izak Anderson is a jeweler and diamond setter based in Seattle, Washington. Izak first discovered his passion for jewelry-making while in high school. After earning his degree in psychology and studio arts from Central Washington University in 2017, where he studied under Professor Keith Lewis, he went on to work as a bench smith for Jamie Joseph. Recently Izak returned to Seattle to work full-time as a stone setter after graduating from the Alexandre School of Optical Diamond Setting.
