About the Work: "I choose my fabric with the intent to work with enamel using the colors of the fabric, it was easier said than done...
In the end I settled for colors that I had and that work together. The pattern on the green segments, neckpiece and earrings, is my interpretation of the bamboo lattice on the fabric. The speckled blue green pattern is another free interpretation of mine. The nesting bamboo boxes and good luck charms on the fabric are represented by a yellow dot (neckpiece), symbolizing positive energy and hope. Blue and green are also lucky colors in Japanese tradition, so lucky colors dominate."

Carolina's Bio: I am one of the gallery artist at Danaca. I make jewelry because I enjoy it very much. I have been making jewelry for many years and I still love it. My hope is that other people will enjoy my pieces as much as I enjoy making them.
