Artist Statement: I specialize in metalsmithing with Argentium silver. This folded ring pushed my fusing skills to create seamless connections without solder, except for the bi-metal overlay. Argentium and etched bi-metal form a striking contrast of bright silver and dark copper patterns. Moving jump rings add subtle motion, inviting interaction. The work honors Carol Webb’s etched bi-metal process, which I continue to practice and teach to carry her legacy forward.

Artist Bio: Bower transforms Argentium silver into wearable pieces defined by texture and contrast. Guided by a “less is more” philosophy, her work highlights the natural elegance of the metal. Argentium’s whiteness, fusibility, and low tarnish support understated yet striking designs suitable for daily wear. With a background in fine jewelry bench work, she emphasizes craftsmanship and longevity. Bower holds a BFA, apprenticed as a goldsmith, and teaches workshops both live and online.
