Pricing

• Private instruction: $90 per hour + materials.
• Additional students: $15 per hour + materials for each additional student.
• A project planning fee may apply depending on your project.

=> Please note: Washington retail sales tax may apply to group lessons with two students or more under current state law (effective October 1, 2025). Applicable tax will be added to invoices where required.

Private lessons are typically 2–3 hours per session. The number of hours and sessions needed depends on the scope of your project.

What We Teach

Sessions are held in our University District studio in Seattle, WA. We accommodate beginner through advanced students working in: Silver, Gold, Copper, Brass, Bronze

Private lessons are great for learning: Metal fabrication, Soldering, Stone setting, Forging, Enameling, Low-tech casting (gravity pour with cuttlebone or tufa stone)

Please note: The studio is not equipped for engraving or centrifugal casting.

Payment & Reservations

To reserve studio time, payment in full is required before the class. Recurring sessions can be billed weekly or monthly.

For group reservations, Danaca Design will issue one invoice that may be split into: 50% non-refundable deposit, and remaining balance due one day before the class.

Materials:

Payment for any special-order materials may be required in advance.
