Tisha Abrahamsen | Captured Dream

Materials: Borosilicate Glass and Copper
Size: 8 (Can't be resized)
One of a Kind
Artist Statement: Dreams rarely appear in perfect clarity. They exist between imagination and reality, visible and at times slightly obscured. This piece reflects the instinct to capture and hold those fragile visions in suspension. The contrast between metal and glass echoes the human desire to protect the dreams that shape our lives. To capture them, suspend them, and protect them even if their meaning remains just beyond reach.
Artist Bio: I have worked with glass in cycles of rediscovery for many years. I studied glass blowing and jewelry fabrication at California College of the Arts (1977–1981). After moving to Seattle, I worked as a production designer and glass blower at The Glass Eye Studio. Since 2006, I have been the owner and designer of André Glass, creating colorful jewelry from handblown glass. I live and work in Seattle, Washington.
