Artist Statement: I have always had a love for spiders and find them beautiful and fascinating. Ever since I was little, I would catch spiders and make terrariums for them out of my barbie homes. One day I came up with the idea to make a spider face ring since I’ve never seen one anywhere before. So I created this little guy. He is usually a production piece but this one is customized with 10k gold and black pearl eyes giving him a psychedelic look.
Artist Bio: Originally from California, now currently based in Wisconsin, Lauren Sannazzaro Swift is the owner of a small art and jewelry business called Sanazar Rose, where she creates every single piece of jewelry by hand. Inspired by life, love and death her work explores the beauty, the magic and the darkness of being alive. Through symbolic design, she captures life’s complexities and creates deep emotional connections through her art and jewelry.
